About

What this site is

Korean stocks became much easier to buy from abroad in 2026, but most of what moves them is still published in Korean: company filings on DART, Korea Exchange data, Bank of Korea statistics and the Korean financial press. This site reads those sources and explains them in plain English for investors outside Korea.

Who writes it

Kwani is the pen name behind a Korean-language stock blog that covers Korean listed companies every day. This site brings the same work to English readers. Articles are drafted with AI assistance from primary sources (DART filings, Korea Exchange data and Bank of Korea statistics) and link to those sources so you can check every number yourself.

How each article is made

  • Primary sources first. Company numbers come from DART filings, Korea Exchange data and the companies' own reports. News coverage is used when a primary source is not available, and every article links to what it used.
  • Won and dollars. Amounts are given in Korean won, with a US dollar conversion at the exchange rate stated in the article.
  • No buy or sell calls. Articles explain what happened, why it matters and what to watch next. Whether to buy or sell is your decision.
  • AI assistance, stated openly. Drafts are written with AI assistance and automatically checked for sources, length and trading calls before they are published.

Corrections

If a number in an article does not match its source, the source wins. Articles are updated when a correction is needed, and the updated date is shown at the top.
